The set for Vanities was a quick and straightforward build, designed with simplicity in mind. We constructed flats to serve as walls, providing a backdrop for the vanities to rest against. Versatile crates and boxes were incorporated into the set, transforming into pieces like a bed or a bench as needed for different scenes. This production was staged in our smaller black box theater, creating an intimate atmosphere that suited the play’s minimalist design.
